Today I got a big list of books I will need for studying at first fac. Now I´m trying to sort out which books are realy important and useful to buy and which books are better to borrow from the libary.
I´ve heard that a good atlas of anatomy is very important and useful to buy, do you agree with that? What about biocem. and so on?
What else might be good to know before I start the english parallel in gen.medicine?

Hello Johanne and welcome!i study in the 2nd year so from my last year experience i can suggest you to get one Atlas of anatomy and one textbook.For histology the same things.these are the 2 main subjects.if u need any more specific info i can help u with which books etc.have a nice time in Prague!

Hi,
I'm a 24 year old student from Austria. I need a room in Praha 1 or Praha 3 from september 2009 until february 2010.
I don't need a very big room, but with Internet and a washing machine in the flat.. Should not cost more then 8500 or max. 9000 CZK.

We are 3 english medical students who will be leaving our flat in July. It is a nice 3 bedroom flat with large rooms and large kitchen with balcony situated one block from the TV antenna in Zizkov. Our landlord lives on the 6th floor and he is an orthopedic surgeon/anatomy instructor who could be very helpful for english speaking students. We are looking to move out at the end of July and find students to take our place. The rent would be negotiated with the landlord but should be around 24,000 Kc per month for three people. Wifi and utilities included.
